ConvergenSEE™ (referred to as “ConvergenSEE” in this policy), recognizes the importance of confidentiality and the protection of personal and customer information. This privacy policy explains how we use and protect any and all personal and customer information we hold, whether it relates to our customers, potential customers, job candidates, partners, former associates or partners or third party service providers.

Our Commitment to Privacy

At ConvergenSEE, the security and integrity of our customers’ information is important to us. We take every measure available to protect the privacy of our customers while providing the high level services they expect.

ConvergenSEE takes responsibility for maintaining and protecting the customer information under our control. ConvergenSEE has in place privacy and security practices to safeguard our customers’ personal information. These practices are reviewed, and if necessary revised, on a regular basis. Additionally, ConvergenSEE’s employees receive privacy training and must comply with ConvergenSEE’s privacy practices as a condition of employment.

Data Security and Integrity

ConvergenSEE has reasonable security policies and procedures in place to protect customer information from unauthorized loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. Despite ConvergenSEE’s best efforts, however, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats. To the best of our ability, access to customer information is limited to those who have a need to know. Those individuals who have access to the data are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information. We also make reasonable efforts to retain customer information only for so long as the information is necessary to comply with a customer request.

How we collect, use and disclose customer information

We only collect customer information as required to meet the purposes that we have identified. We do not indiscriminately collect or retain personal information of our clients.

ConvergenSEE typically collects customer information that is voluntarily provided by the customer in question. At times, however, customer information is obtained from other sources, such as government bodies or third parties such as employers, references and service providers, as permitted by law.

The purposes for collecting information about our customers and prospective customers is primarily to provide advertising and marketing services, to maintain customer relationships, communicate with our customers, maintain mailing lists and avoid conflicts of interest.

ConvergenSEE uses third party service providers from time to time to carry out certain functions such as media buying, directory advertising placements in both print and electronic form, printing, storage, shredding or document scanning. Where we use outside service providers, we require the third party to protect personal information in the same manner in which we protect it and to not use or disclose it for any purposes except as directed by ConvergenSEE.

Protecting your customer information

We strive to maintain customer information in as accurate, complete and up-to-date a form as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. We protect customer information by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the customer information, regardless of format. Our security safeguards include premises security and restricted access to files containing customer information. Depending upon the information under our control, we also use technological safeguards such as security software and firewalls to prevent hacking or unauthorized computer access, internal passwords and security policies.
